(parked motorcycle syndrome) Add to that the fact that your MIL has taken up residence with you & ice that cake with a letter from a "boy toy" who is "giving up on you" & you have reason to be a little irritable. Cheer up! Spring's coming! Yep, you should keep the site up & going just like you have in the past. If someone doesn't like it, too bad. Let them go to Martha Stewart, or Barbara Streisand, or Richard Simmons' web site to read up on interior decorating or just to get in touch with their inner self. Face it. You can't be all things to all people. • Hang in there. Enjoy your reads! There's always that 10% of those suffering from "Dumb Ass-itis". BTY I used your site for some tremendous tips for a trip that I took to Nevada and back from NC last April. I did a mostly non-Interstate solo run for 4 weeks camping most of the time and wandering all over the back highways of the TX/NM/NV/CO/UT areas. I never had a negative people incident; so it showed me there are a hell of a lot of fine folks out there. Guess the real assholes don't "really" ride. ... I enjoy your site. I learn a lot from it, and pass the word on for others to take a look if they want to learn something about riding. Too bad these weekend warriors don't learn more from guys like you, maybe there wouldn't be so many dying and messing up the safety record. I honestly feel 90% of the crashes are self inflicted by lack of focus and assholes too dumb to get the value of seeing what guys like you have to say. ... In closing, this old timer thanks you for your help in making my experiences on the road safer, easier, and more fun. I look forward to seeing more on your site.
